Kisses from Katie \\ book review

{Buy the book here}
Kisses from Katie invites readers on a journey of radical love down the red dirt roads of Uganda. You’ll laugh and cry with Katie as she follows Jesus into the impossible and finds joy and beauty beneath the dust. Katie and her children delight in saying yes to the people God places in front of them and challenge readers to do the same, changing the world one person at a time.

I REALLY enjoyed this book! Katie is so inspiring and it was really neat reading her stories! It's a new favorite of mine!

Here are some thoughts that I had while reading the book:

I really liked how whoever God brought into Katie's life, she would show them unconditional love. She looked passed the dirty faces and ratty clothe and saw hurting children (and adults) who needed shown God's love.
When Katie needed strength to go on, she would cry out to God for wisdom + guidance. So often we run to our friends when Jesus is standing with His arms stretched open wide, waiting for us to come running to Him.
This book made me realize how truly blessed I am, here in the United States. They had so little, yet were so thankful for what God had given them.
Even though we are far from perfect, God still uses us. He has a plan for each and everyone of us to do great things. When we make ourselves available to God, He moves in ways that no one could imagine! God created each of us with a purpose and wants us to fulfill that purpose.

I have more thoughts, but think I will stop with that! I hope you enjoyed reading this review and will get the book and read it yourself! I got SO much from it and hope you will too!
