Christmas Lullaby

Christmas is almost here, y'all!! The Christmas music has been playing constantly at my house!
While scrolling through YouTube a couple days ago (looking for Christmas music of course!) I came across this music video by the Durocher Family. It's from a year ago, but I had never listened to it before.
Hope you enjoy some Christmas music!

(And if one song doesn't satisfy you, here's another good one!)

Merry Christmas!

May the God of {hope} fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
Praying you all had a blessed Christmas!

{What did you do for Christmas? I'd love to hear about it!}

Mary Did You Know?

MARY DID YOU KNOW?
by Mark Lowry

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day walk on water?

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has come to make you new?

This Child that you delivered will soon deliver you.
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will calm the storm with His hand?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little Baby you kissed the face of God?

Mary did you know.. Ooo Ooo Ooo
The blind will see.
The deaf will hear.
The dead will live again.
The lame will leap.
The dumb will speak
The praises of The Lamb.

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day rule the nations?

Did you know
that your Baby Boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
The sleeping Child you're holding is the Great, I Am.

{if you would like to watch a music video of this song, go here}
. . .
My aunt, Hannah, asked if I would pose as Mary so she could draw it
for Christmas cards! This is how it turned out! ^^

Wishing you all a blessed Christmas
Remember that Jesus is the reason for the season.

LUKE 2:10-11
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is
Christ the Lord.

What Child is This?

What child is this, who laid to rest, on Mary's lap is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet, while shepherds watch are keeping?

This, this, is Christ the King whom shepherds gaurd and angels sing;
Haste, haste, to bring Him laud, the Babe the Son of Mary.

Why lies He in such mean estate, where ox and ass are feeding?
Good christian fear, for sinners here, the silent word is pleading.

Nails, spear, shall pierce Him through, the cross be borne for me, for you.
Hail, hail, the word made flesh, the Babe the Son of Mary.

 So, bring Him incense, Gold, and myrrh, come peasant, king to own Him;
The King of kings salvation brings, let loving hearts enthrone Him.

 Raise, raise, the song on high, the virgin sings her lullaby.
Joy, joy for Christ is born, the Babe the Son of Mary.

This has been a favorite song of mine for as long as I can remember. The tune is so pretty! :)

Many people see Christmas as just another holiday, to give and receive gifts. But, that's not what it's all about. It's Jesus' birthday. The best gift you can give Him is your life. I want to challenge each of you to give your life fully to God and serve Him with your whole heart.
