I very much enjoyed this book! Leslie touched on some subjects I have been thinking about lately. Some of it was a little over my head (such as her writing style + big words), but other than that it was a really good book and I learned a lot. 
 I underlined so many things while reading this and wrote down lots too. 
Here are some of my favorite quotes from the book:

Jesus Christ must be the focus of your life -- He must be enough, even if no earthly love story comes your way. Rather then searching for a human love story to meet your deepest needs for fulfillment and security, find your fulfillment and security in your intimate romance with the Prince of your soul. 

Don't let your longing for human love usurp your longing for more and more of Jesus Christ. As you seek first His Kingdom and His Righteousness within your life, everything else He disires for you will fall perfectly in place with His own perfect time and way (see Matthew 6:33). 

A godly man longs for a woman who has been shaped a molded by the beauty of Jesus Christ.

The best way to find a truly Christ-built man is to stop hunting for one and, instead, pour all of your time and energy into your relationship with Jesus Christ. <<[that quote though!]

Proverbs 31:12

Earlier this week, I spent an evening with my aunt, Mace. One of the things we did together was watch a session by Leslie Ludy on “True Femininity.” I recently got one of her books, “Set-Apart Femininity” but have only read a few pages so far. I was excited to hear Leslie speak!

I really enjoyed what she was sharing. Leslie mainly spoke about what she came from. She was a Christian, but stayed as close to the world as she could with out going “over the edge of the cliff” as she put it. Then she went through how God had spoke to her and that she was living for herself and not for Him. She slowly began giving things to God, such as her life, her body, her relationships with guys, etc.

One day as she was reading through Proverbs 31, she came to verse 12. It says, “She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.” That really stuck out to her [and me!]. What does it mean ‘to do him good and not evil all the days of your life?’ You’re not married all your life. To me, it means keeping myself pure, loving him (yes, already!), praying for him (you never know what trial he is facing), and that I wouldn't dress in a way that would attract men’s attention, because I am saving myself for my future husband.

So, girls, save yourself for the one God has for you. Lets do our future husband good ALL the days of our life. Prepare now. Keep yourself pure. 

Save your heart, mind and emotions for the one and only man God has for you.
